Mahindra Scorpio Humangur Exterior

First introduced in 2002, the Scorpio is one of Mahindra's many sports utility vehicles (SUV) sold in the Indian market. Mahindra launched the third-generation of the Scorpio in 2014.

Steering Mounted Audio & Cruise Controls

The S11 variant comes with integrated control buttons on the steering wheel. The left spoke houses buttons for the audio system and telephony, while the cruise control functions are housed on the right spoke.

Mahindra scorpio Twin Pod Instrument Cluster

The Scorpio gets a twin-pod instrument cluster with the tachometer on the left, speedometer on the right, and a monochrome multi-information display (MID) in the centre. Warning lights are placed around the MID.

Mahindra Scorpio Dual-Tone Dashboard

Mahindra has given the Scorpio a dual-tone black-and-light grey cabin layout. While the lighter shade helps in making the cabin feel airy, it is prone to getting dirty faster than a beige or an all-black cabin.

The top-end S11 variant comes with a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has in-built GPS navigation in 10 languages and also serves as the display for the reverse parking camera.

Mahindra Scorpio 5-Speed Manual Gearbox

The Scorpio is available with two manual gearbox options. The S3, S5 and S7 (120BHP) variants get a 5-speed gearbox, while the more powerful S7 (140BHP) and S11 variants get with a 6-speed unit.

SAFETY

Mahindra Scorpio Dual Airbag

All variants, except the base spec S3, come with dual front airbags (driver and passenger), anti-lock braking system (ABS), panic brake indication, seatbelt reminder, and auto door lock while driving. Engine immobiliser is standard across the range.

PERFORMANCE

Mahindra Scorpio Improved Suspension

The second-gen Scorpio, which was introduced in 2014, features a new suspension setup. This includes a double wishbone-type independent front suspension and multi-link coil springs with anti-roll bar at the rear. This has helped improve the road manners of the Scorpio by a huge margin.
